Racconto di un superstite che saltò giù dall'edificio:
>On the 18th morning, there were around 10 people working on the first floor, 30 people including male on the second floor drawing, and third floor are animator and director, usually noising and talking (わちゃわちゃ is an Osakan lingo, I think...talking noisily is a an equivalent translation)
>Around 10:30, while I was drawing normally, I heard arguement from the first floor, a man screaming Wa!! angryly, then woman screaming, tehn explosion and a sudden noise like a heavy engine Don! DON! DON! coming out.
>In less then 10 second, ink black smoke started pouring in from the staircase downstair
>A male employee rushed up from the other stair(Kyoani had two stair in the building a regular and spiral stair) sreaming fire, a woman employee near the stair immediatly pressed the fire alert button, with the sound of the alarm, more smoke came in, and I can't see my finger anymore.
>If this continue, I'll die, as the smoke make me dizzy(クラクラ can be described as dizzy or spinning ), and I rushed to the balcony through the sunlight, smoke was rising to the third floor through the stair.
>As I reach the balcony, I thought, if I jump from here, I might die or get hurt badly, as great heat I start feeling in my back.
>Some other co-worker that had already jumpe down started yelling, "It's ok, jump down, JUMP!, JUMP!" I jumped and landed on my back, and now that I think back and notice while I jump out of the burning studio, no one was wearing shoe, it was all so sudden.
>The interviewed person was safe with his life, firefighter that was quickly on the scene placed him in the green category, with only light scratch to his anke/knee, and while still at the scene I notice other people with fireburn on them, and other that are sprained from the jump and groaning.
>Kyoani have scheduled fire drill and also does training with local fire department, the man now remember "This is not the same as training at all, if I made one tiny mistake, I would have died, and I still can't believe I'm still alive."
>My friend friend/comerade isn't come back, I still can't accept that, as the man say, I was busy escaping with my life, so I didn't know what happened then, but regarding the suspect claim of having a novel stolen, I've never heard of this incident.
>I'm very angry and not understand why this has to happen, and I hope he gets the full treatment of the law.
